Are you “Team Cat” or “Team Dog”?
Many of us have furry family members that help us navigate through life’s tough stretches. The time has come again to help local animals that are looking for loving families and good homes of their own. Come out and show your support for the Lycoming County SPCA with John. F. Laedlein Lodge’s Third Annual SPCA Donation Bowl!
We will again be holding our “drive-by and drop-off” event to collect much needed donations for the SPCA facility located in Williamsport on Saturday, August 20th from 8:00 AM until Noon. Items will be collected in the parking lot of the South Williamsport Grotto and counted toward a “score” for either Team Cat or Team Dog. The rules are simple: one drop-off equals one point. The winning team will be announced on the District 18 official website at the end of the month. So far we have a win for each team for the past two events. Who will take away the honor this year?
Every person donating items on the 20th will be entered into a drawing for one of two $25 Giant Supermarket Gift Cards!!
Items that will be accepted for Team Cat:
Clay type Cat Litter (non-clumping)
Cat and kitten food (bagged and canned)
Powdered Kitten Milk replacer
Items that will accepted for Team Dog:
Dye free dog food (bagged and canned)
Soft dog treats (Please NO rawhide.)
Can’t decide which team to support?
General donations of the following are also welcome:
• Bleach
• Laundry detergent (liquid or pods only)
• Paper towels
• Dryer sheets
• Clean towels and blankets
• “Heavy Load” trash bags
• Cash donations to help pay for much needed medicines.
• Gift cards for office supplies
• Gasoline cards for the Humane Officers service vehicles
