Lodge #707 Community Charity Initiative

Free and Accepted Masons of Pennsylvania

“The John F. Laedlein Lodge #707
Community Charity Initiative
is moving forward!!

Through our last two donation events (the SPCA Charity Bowl and the Gate House Travel Cards) we have been able to give almost $800 of goods back to our community.

The recipients from both of these donations were extremely grateful for the generosity of our Brethren.

If not for the efforts and sacrifices of our Nation’s Military personnel both past and present we would not be able to enjoy the freedoms that we sometimes take for granted. Our February/ March charity focus will be the MilitaryShare program of the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. This program is designed specifically to help veterans, reserve, and active members of our military who need assistance feeding themselves and their families.

“For the convenience and privacy of the individuals and families served, MilitaryShare distributions take place on-site at armories, VFW, and AMVET locations throughout Central Pennsylvania Food Bank’s 27 county service area.  There are currently 28 distribution sites in Central Pennsylvania serving more than 45,000 individuals through the program.”

Monetary donations of any amount will be gratefully appreciated and can be sent to Brother David L. Hubbard P.M., Secretary of John F. Laedlein Lodge #707 at 1389 Mahaffey Hollow Rd. Linden, Pa. 17744 until Wednesday, March 24th.  Please note that your contribution is to be added to the MilitaryShare collection.

Thank you all for your thoughtfulness and giving.  Let’s continue shining the light of our Fraternity out into our World.
